Tour Details
Day 1
Arrival and welcome in Windhoek . After the formalities, you can exchange money. Thereafter you will receive your vehicle or are welcomed by your tour guide. Drive to your hotel, check-in. In the afternoon experience a city tour, during which you learn the most important facts of the city. The rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2
At 08.30 o'clock you leave Windhoek and drive on the B1 in a northerly direction. In Okahandja you can visit the craft market and enjoy a coffee. Your journey continues towards Waterberg, where you arrive in the early afternoon. A game drive is planned for late afternoon. With a little luck you will see many wild animals such as rhinos, giraffes and zebras.

Day 3
Today's stage is very short. Stopover in Otjiwarongo to stock up for the next few days with provisions. Visit the crocodile farm in Otjiwarongo. In the early afternoon you will arrive at the lodge, and around 16.00 o'clock go on a farm drive. Enjoy a great sunset with a glass of beer or wine.

Day 4
Start at 08.00 clock today, because you have a long stretch ahead. Again, on the B1 drive to Tsumeb, an old mining town. Stop over before you continue to your final destination for the day. Enjoy a visit to the Museum and experience Otjikotosee (discovered in 1851), en route to your lodge.

Day 5 + 6
Enjoy two days in the Etosha National Park, 22 270 sqm in size, with its variety of animals. Drive through the park and stop at various waterholes. Your destination is the Okaukuejo Camp. Your chalet is located right near the biggest waterhole in the park, where around the clock you can sit and watch the animals coming for a drink.

Day 7
There are two routes which lead to today's destination. Either drive via Outjo directly to Vingerklip, or take the more arduous way across the park towards Kamanjab. This part of the park until recently was open only to researchers. Enquire at Okaukuejo Office and then decide.

Day 8
Today is a day of rest where you can enjoy the surroundings of the Vingerklip and a cool pool. There are also opportunities for hiking. Enjoy your dinner on top of the terrace with a fantastic panoramic view and spectacular sunset.

Day 9
You should get up early. Today's route leads you to “the end of civilization”. Opuwo is an interesting place. Refuel your car, so you can leave early the next day.

Day 10
Only 200 kilometers from the Epupa waterfalls! The E3700, a gravel road, will demands all your concentration. But the reward at your destination is spectacular. Certainly a highlight of the trip. Bathing in the Kunene is absolutely forbidden since many hungry crocodiles are waiting for you! You will be staying in very romantic tents and experience the African sounds.

Day 11
Today you take a guided tour to the Ova Himba, one of the last nomadic people. You can experience how these people live, although even here, the modern era has dawned. In the evening enjoy a sundowner high above the Epupa waterfalls . This view will probably remain in good memory.

Day 12
Get up early! You should start at 07.30 o’clock . The E3700 brings you back to Opuwo, where you again make a short refueling stop and buy your lunch. On the C43 drive through the Kunene / Kaokoveld area continue via the Joubert Pass to the next lodge. You should arrive around 15.30 o’clock, since shortly after arrival the game drive starts. With a bit of luck, you will find the desert elephants.

Day 13
Again a long stage lies ahead of you, so leave early. Take packed lunches from the lodge. The Skeleton Coast is one of the most notorious areas, where a lot of ships sank. Visit Cape Cross, one of the largest seal colony in the world. Afterwards continue via Hentiesbaai to Swakopmund.

Day 14
No time to rest! In the morning you will participate in a field trip to the desert. Under expert guidance, you discover that the desert is alive. The ride over the dunes is a unique experience. Use the rest of the day for your own pleasure.

Day 15
Today you arrive via Walvis Bay in the Namib Naukluft Park. You drive via the Kusieb- and Gaub Pass and visit the Kuiseb Canyon. In Solitaire, refuel the car and enjoy the famous apple pie with a cup of coffee. Then continue to the next lodge.

Day 16
Today you will visit the world's highest dunes with a guided tour. A dune hike is one of the highlights. Visit the Death Valley with its dead trees and spectacular views. The rest of the day is at your leisure, you can spend it at the pool or at the spa.

Day 17
Today you drive further through the Namib Naukluft Park, along the Tiras Mountains, to your destination for the day in Aus.

Day 18
Starting at 08.00 o’clock, driving on the B4, you will have enough time to visit the old buildings at Kolmanskop (Kolmanskop was considered the richest city in Africa. 1930 diamond mining in Kolmanskop was stopped). At 10.45 o’clock a guide tour takes place. In Lüderitz you have the afternoon at leisure. Definitely visit the “Felsenkirche” and several other attractions.

Day 19
Today you will take part in a guided tour into the restricted area, where the first diamonds were found and the entire area has been plowed. Lunch is in one of the old huts. Continue to the famous Bogenfels. Around 17.00 o’clock you are back and can enjoy the rest of the day in the bay of Lüderitz.

Day 20
Slowly but surely, you are approaching the end of your trip. Nevertheless, again you have a long trip ahead of you today. Take the B4 back up to Seeheim. Here you turn onto the C12 and the D298 which will take you to C10 and directly to Ais-Ais. Ais-Ais is located in the second largest canyon in the world.

Day 21
Today experience a guided tour in the middle of the canyon. In the afternoon you can enjoy the hot springs and relax. Enjoy a spectacular sunset in the evening.

Day 22
Leaving the Fish River Canyon in the direction of Grünau, continue on the B1 to Mariental. In the vicinity of Stampriet lies your last stop, in the middle of the red sand of the Kalahari Desert.

Day 23
One more day for relaxation. In the afternoon, a last guided excursion will take you into the Kalahari Desert. Enjoy the day in peace and quiet by the pool.

Around lunchtime, drive towards Windhoek . Do some last minute shopping for souvenirs and then return the rental car and be transferred to Hosea Kutako International Airport.
